About the role

The Innovation & Impact team form part of the Research, Innovation, and Impact (RII) division. The division supports the research, innovation, and impact activity across the University. The Senior Project Officer reports to the Student Enterprise Manager within the Innovation & Impact team. Tasked with supporting the day-to-day operations, and managing the communication and engagement activity for Student Enterprise, the Senior Project Officer (Student Enterprise) will plan, organise, deliver, record, and report on activities including marketing, events, communications, PR, meeting facilitation, and network development. 

About you

We are looking for someone who can communicate effectively with researchers, business partners, and students. You will be experienced in marketing, communications, and events management and delivery. This is a key role within Student Enterprise and its networks, ensuring all activities happen in an efficient and timely manner and are recorded and reported to allow success to be monitored and celebrated.

About the Role 

Combine teaching, leadership and research within the Social Work discipline at Flinders University. We have an exciting opportunity within the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work as the Senior Lecturer in Evaluation and Research Methods. As the successful candidate, you will be a key member of the academic staff within the Social Work discipline at Flinders University. In addition to contributing to quality research endeavours, the incumbent will, under general supervision, provide leadership and contribute to the planning and delivery of teaching the Social Work topics.

Some of the key responsibilities of the Senior Lecturer in Evaluation and Research Methods will be:


	Undertaking a lead role in the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of contemporary and innovative learning and teaching experiences primarily within Evaluation and Research Methods of Social Work practice.
	Undertaking topic coordination and course coordination.
	Making a significant contribution to ethical, high-quality and innovative research and creative activities, through activities such as scholarship, quality publication, external grant acquisition, mentoring and developing early career researchers.
	Undertaking a lead role in innovative and inspiring teaching, informed by approaches that enhance the student experience.
	Actively supervising and mentoring students undertaking complex WIL, Honours and/or Research Higher Degree students.
	Building and maintaining strategic relationships and networks with a range of stakeholders including industry and professional associations and organisations, with an increasing national and/or international focus.


About You 

To be successful, you will have a PhD, or an equivalent qualification, in a field relevant to Social Work.

Some of the other key position capabilities of the role include:


	Significant track record and demonstrated evidence of successful relevant teaching experience in Evaluation and Research Methods at tertiary level, including responsibility for topic coordination, course coordination and curriculum design.
	Demonstrated experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodology.
	Demonstrated research experience with high-quality publications, attraction of external competitive grants and presentations at a national and/or international level in Social Work or an aligned profession.
	Demonstrated experience and successful track record in supervision of honours and higher degree students to successful completion.
	Demonstrated experience providing leadership in the area of curriculum reviews and internal and external accreditation activities.
	Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to establish effective relationships with staff, students and industry.
	Demonstrated ability to contribute to the discipline and/or profession within a relevant external professional domain and within a wider community context at local, national and international level.
	Demonstrated experience leading, supervising and mentoring academic staff.
